AI software for telecom revenue operations

Internal AI software for workflows where guessing costs money.

Help your team move from scattered information to checked quotes, reviewed follow-up, and explainable revenue records.

For U.S. telecom channel partners that quote multi-vendor hardware and carrier services: resellers, carrier partners, WCPs, MVNOs, ISPs, and the MSPs that sell connectivity.

AI handles ambiguity. Software handles rules. People own consequential decisions.

Revenue Workflow Engine

$15,000–$40,000

Fix the highest-cost revenue handoff first — meeting-to-pipeline, prospect-to-research, or pipeline-to-follow-up — then connect transcripts, research, CRM updates, and follow-up work around that workflow.

Commission & Billing Assurance System

$10,000–$30,000

Reconcile carrier commission and billing statements against your own records — expected-versus-paid, missing activations, SPIFFs and residuals, duplicate credits, chargebacks, and vendor invoice variances.

Planning ranges in USD; scope and fees are confirmed in a written proposal. Assessment, implementation, and ongoing care are priced separately unless combined. Third-party software, model usage, hosting, data feeds, travel, and applicable taxes are additional unless included.

What moves a build up the rangeExample: Quote & Solution Engine. The same drivers — sources, rules, roles, integrations, and outputs — set the fee for every build.
Focused scopeToward the low end

One approved catalog, one pricing source, one intake flow, one output format, and one approval path.

Expanded scopeMid-range

Several solution branches, lifecycle and dependency rules, multiple user roles and permissions, and read access to CRM data.

Complex scopeTop of the range and beyond

Multiple vendors and pricing structures, record write-back to connected systems, and several output formats. Complex multi-system builds may reach $75,000–$150,000+ after discovery.

Not sure where to start?Match the problem to the first engagement.
You already know the one workflow to fix
You need to decide where AI or automation will help
People keep researching the same products and prices
Quotes need repeated engineering or commercial correction
Research, meeting notes, and CRM updates fall between tools
Statements and business records do not reconcile cleanly
Teams need practical AI methods and verification habits

Managed System Care

$2,500–$8,000/monthRecurring service

Maintain the systems in scope through source refreshes, checks, issue review, model and tool updates, and a defined queue of smaller changes.

The care agreement names the systems covered, update cadence, support hours, response targets, and monthly change allowance. Scope determines the monthly fee; additional systems or material feature work require an agreed change.

A connected program

AI Revenue Operations Program

$60,000–$150,000+Phased multi-system build
Plus $5,000–$12,000/month ongoing operation

Combine knowledge, quoting, revenue workflows, and assurance modules into a phased internal system built around the company’s priorities.

Discovery identifies the modules included and their sequence. A first phase may establish shared knowledge and quoting; later phases can connect account workflows or assurance. It is a scoped program, not every menu service at once — and included ongoing work replaces equivalent standalone care rather than being charged twice.

How we work

Assess. Build. Run.

Start with a free 30-minute fit call. Discovery and implementation are separately scoped.

1

Assess

Map the workflow, sources, and cost of errors: a Scoping & Data-Fit Assessment for one workflow ($2,500–$5,000, credited to the build), or the AI Workflow & Operations Audit for several.

2

Build

Ship the selected workflow with agreed rules, review points, and acceptance examples.

3

Run

Maintain the approved sources and behavior under a defined care agreement.

Control over the result

Your sources. Your rules. Clear approval points.

Each workflow defines which sources the system may use, which rules govern the result, and who approves the next action. When the evidence is incomplete, the workflow names the missing input and routes it for review.

Approved sources

Answers point to approved sources; missing or conflicting evidence stays visible.

Rules in software

Prices, totals, selections, and financial rules use agreed software logic, not model guesses.

Role-based access

Roles determine access to customer records and internal commercial information.

Named reviewers

Named reviewers approve consequential AI-drafted outputs and changes before they move forward.

Release evidence

Representative examples, failure cases, and review records support each release decision.

Client separation

PD Insights keeps client environments, client-specific code, source data, credentials, and commercial information segregated and does not share them between clients. Ownership and any case-study disclosure are agreed in writing.

Built around telecom operations.

Led by Pete Dunn, PD Insights brings telecom revenue operations and hands-on software development into the same engagement. The work starts with the process your team needs to improve and ends with an internal system, operating documentation, and a defined handoff.

Relevant work includes controlled quote drafting, catalog and lifecycle research, and meeting-to-pipeline workflows. These examples inform the delivery approach; your scope and acceptance measures are defined for your business.

Is this a fit?

Built for workflows where errors cost money.

PD Insights works best as a senior, hands-on partner on one workflow that matters. Some projects are better served elsewhere.

A strong fit when…
  • A repeated workflow has a named owner and a real cost when it's slow or wrong
  • Approved sources exist: catalogs, price books, statements, procedures
  • Someone on your team can review and approve the output
  • The business case fits the planning ranges above
Probably not the right fit for…
  • Consumer chatbots or one-off prompt writing
  • AI strategy with no workflow owner behind it
  • Quick, low-cost task automation
  • Projects with no authoritative source data
  • Fully autonomous customer or financial commitments with no review
  • Buying primarily on hourly rate
Before you start

Questions about scope and pricing.

Do we need an audit before a build?

Not always. One well-defined workflow starts with a Scoping & Data-Fit Assessment ($2,500–$5,000), credited in full to the build if it is signed within 60 days of the assessment readout. The full AI Workflow & Operations Audit is for teams choosing among several workflows.

Does the Quote & Solution Engine require the Knowledge & Pricing Intelligence System?

No. A Quote & Solution Engine includes the sources and rules needed for its own quoting workflow. A separate Knowledge & Pricing Intelligence System is for sharing that information across research, sales, support, or lifecycle work.

What determines the final price?

The number of workflows and systems, source quality, calculation rules, access requirements, output formats, and acceptance criteria. These are confirmed before the build is committed.

Are software and ongoing support included?

Third-party subscriptions, model usage, hosting, data feeds, and ongoing care are separate unless the proposal explicitly includes them. Each care agreement defines its coverage and change allowance.

Is pricing updated in real time?

Only where an authorized source supports that refresh. Otherwise, the system displays the latest accepted source update and identifies stale or missing information for review.

Can you work with Apollo, Salesforce, or HubSpot?

These are integration candidates. Discovery confirms the required functions, platform edition, permissions, and API access before a connection is included in scope.

What happens when an answer is unsupported?

The workflow identifies the missing source or input and routes the issue for review. Prices and product facts must come from approved evidence; calculations follow agreed software rules.

Who approves customer output?

Your named reviewers approve AI-drafted quotes, external messages, consequential record changes, and finance exceptions at the points defined in the workflow.

How long does an engagement take?

A focused build typically runs 3–6 weeks after source access and scope approval. The exact schedule depends on access, source readiness, and reviewer availability; larger multi-workflow programs are phased so a focused workflow goes into use first.

Where does the system run?

Client-hosted, in your own cloud tenant or servers; in a cloud environment PD Insights manages for your company; or on local models when data can't leave your environment. The proposal sets hosting, access, and ownership.

Is our data used to train AI models?

No. Client information is not used to train public or third-party models without written authorization.
